Our Premises in Bo’ness were the first that Thomas Cuthell and Sons occupied. Prior to this the joiner's workshop and undertaking was managed from the our family home. Our service room and rest rooms were added to our original premises in the 1970's. Throughout the 1980's the joinery side of the business was phased out to allow us to focus solely on funeral directing. The original service room (with seating for around 70 people) is still in regular use today with a waiting room, offices, meeting rooms and private rest room. The driver's canteen and changing facilities are also within this building as it is where our fleet of funeral vehicles are garaged. We have a purpose built indoor wash bay which allows us to maintain and valet our vehicles to the highest possible standard as well as an area for storage of coffins and our memorial workshop. Each of our coffins are prepared at this site, whilst we no longer manufacture our own coffins we do still furnish each one by hand. Our dedicated memorial team also operate from here and we have a selection of memorials available to view to assist any client's in choosing a fitting memorial for their loved one.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
